WHY GIVE
For the past five decades, Villa Charities has been a pillar of the Italian-Canadian community across the GTA, providing cultural and educational programs and supporting culturally sensitive long-term care and independent living apartments for seniors.
Since the beginning, donors have been – and continue to be – the heart and soul of Villa Charities. It is the generosity of donors that allows us to enrich lives through experiences and services that honour Italian culture and heritage.
But it is not always easy. More funds are needed to help sustain the ever-increasing variety of programs and services we offer.
Areas of Need
Senior Care – Support facilities like Villa Colombo Toronto, Villa Colombo Vaughan Di Poce Centre, Caboto Terrace, Casa Del Zotto and Casa Abruzzo, all of which provide culturally-sensitive care for older members of our community.
Cultural Programming – Bringing together and promoting art, culture, heritage, special events and unique culinary experiences.
Scholarships & Youth Services – Inspiring and supporting the next generation of community leaders.
Capital Needs – Ensuring the sustainability of our buildings (including the Columbus Centre), infrastructure, mechanical systems, and equipment.
